This delicious steamed dessert is known as 'Kharvas' in Maharashtra, 'Junnu' in Andhrapradesh, 'ginnu' in Kannada & 'posu' in Konkani.
Kharvas or Junnu is a milk pudding which is generally made of colostrum (first day thick milk of cows or Buffalos), but in my recipe I refrain from using colostrum. This a quick version of kharvas & tastes yummy .It takes very little time to get prepared.
