And if it's made with Spinach, then it's an added bonus. This Soup is not only delicious but also has lots of benefits. It's the best one to control Blood pressure levels as it's high in Nitrates. Therefore making it a really big relief to those people who are worried about their Blood pressure. Spinach is highly rich in Vitamin A, C and K. And rich in Minerals like Iron, Magnesium and Manganese which helps in improving immunity. Not only that, this Soup helps in combating stress levels that are so common today. All in all, a healthy one not only for main meals but also best for in between meals.

Ingredients

2 serving
  1. 2 bunchesSpinach
  2. 2Garlic cloves finely chopped
  3. 1small Onion finely chopped
  4. 1 tbspButter
  5. 1/2Maggi Seasoning cube
  6. 1/2 tspBlack Pepper Powder
  7. 2 tbspMozzarella Cheese shredded
  8. 1/2 cupMilk
  9. to taste Salt

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Heat Butter in a non-stick kadai or any skillet. Saute Onion and Garlic until light brown. Also add half of the Seasoning cube. Do not add whole of it. This recipe is for a single person. You can double or triple this as required.

    Now add Spinach leaves. Saute for two minutes. Take it off the heat. Let it cool down a bit and then blend into a fine puree.

    Add this puree to the kadai again. Add Milk, two tablespoons of Cheese, Black Pepper Powder and Salt. I didn't add Salt to it as this was completely okay for me. You can add it according to your preference. Remember we had added Seasoning cube so actually there is no need of Salt at all. But if you require, add it to your liking.

    Serve this piping hot with Fresh Cream on top. Enjoy! Yum! Healthy!
