Cooking Instructions

First take milkmaid,butter and baking powder into a bowl and whisk it till creamy and combined completely.now add in semolina and mix well.

Now add water and mix well.now make sugar syrup put all ingredients from above sugar ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a boil.

Boil till you get 1 string consistency. Now greased the tin,layer the mixed chopped nuts all over the tin,then pour the Basbousa batter over the nuts.

Now bake Basbousa 180° for 20 mins till it's done and forms golden brown crust onto top layer.when you remove from oven pour the warm syrup all over it.

When slightly cool it and flip over the serving plate,decorate with more dry fruits and syrup. Cut into desired pieces and serve.enjoy
