In a bowl make the dough first,by combining dry ings first.

Combine salt,baking powder,flour then mixvit.Secondly the wet ings.Pour butter,milk,egg,vanilla then mix again.

Use hands to knead for five.mins to form a dough.After that cover with cling wrap and set aside in a room temperature fir an.hour.To let the dough rise at least double in size.

After an hour,knead then use a rolling pin to lay flat and form it a rectangular or square shape.

In.a small bowl agg sugar and cinnamon then pour just a little water to melts ir dissolves the sugar.

Then brush it evenly on the surface of dough.After that pour evenly too the coconut.

Roll it and cut into your desirable size and place in a baking tray.

Bake in preheat oven for 18 mins at 200c.

Have I mentioned I’ve tried to make yeast bread over the last 35 years and failed miserably? Well, I have. I’ve followed recipes down to a T. Failure! I’m thinking I’m making it harder than it has to be. I know there’s a lot of ‘feel’ to it. I introduced my grandson to cinnamon raisin bread and the smell alone, from the toaster, was all it took to sell him hard. It’s expensive stuff right now!! 5 bucks a loaf? And the loaves are dinky. Delicious, but dinky. I went in WITHOUT a recipe except my own little quick hot roll recipe, and made 2 loaves for Pennie’s, literally. I even used whole wheat flour and golden raisins.
