Ingredients

  1. 1 cupall-purpose flour
  2. 1/2 cupthick curd
  3. 3/4 cupsugar powder
  4. 100 gramsbutter
  5. 1 tspbaking powder
  6. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  7. 1/2 cupmilk
  8. 1 tsplight cocoa powder
  9. 1 tbspdark cocoa powder
  10. 1 tspvanilla essence

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl whisk butter till creamy,add curd.Whisk.Add sugar also.Whisk well for 2-3minutes till the mixture is fluffy.Add vanilla essence.

    Put a strainer over bowl,add all-purpose flour,baking powder and baking soda.Sieve in batches and mix gently to the butter-curd-sugar mixture.

    Mix all dry ingredients to the mixture.Add milk little by little to make a batter of dropping consistency.

    Divide the batter into 3 equall parts.
    A-vanilla part
    B-light cocoa powder
    C-dark cocoa powder.

    Keep A part aside.
    Add 1 tsp light coloured cocoa powder to part B.Keep aside.
    Add 1 tbsp dark coloured cocoa powder to part C. Keep aside.

    Grease a mould of 8"×4".
    Put the both chocolaty batter into 2 separate piping bags.

    Add vanilla part to the mould,tap.
    Add light coloured chocolaty part over vanilla part through piping bag.Tap
    Add dark coloured chocolaty part over light coloured part through piping bag.Tap.

    Preheat an oven at 170 °c for 10 minutes.Bake the cake at 160 °c for 35 -40 minutes.

    Cake is perfectly baked after 35 minutes.Take out,cool andcut into slices.

    3 layered chocolate pound cake is ready to be served.Enjoy.
