These are absolutely great looking Bhaturas done with only Wheat Flour using Sharbati Gehun or Whole Wheat. Not only do they look good but also get done very quickly and tastes equally delicious.
I prefer these to the normal plain Flour one's for my family on any day.
And for a filling Breakfast, these are a great option with either Aloo or Chole Masala.
Easy and simple, these beautifully puffed up Bhaturas or Puris are a treat to our tastebuds.
Though these are deep fried, Wheat Flour one's are always perfect and healthy too. They don't tend to absorb much Oil and therefore are always a hit.
Enjoy Cooking with Zeen!

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Make a soft dough out of all the ingredients listed under dough preparation.
- 2
Divide the dough into golf sized balls. Roll them with light hands. Deep fry in hot Oil on both the sides. Keep an eye while frying. Check the oil temperature. If it is too hot, reduce it a bit and if it has become less hot, increase the flame accordingly.
- 3
It is advisable to roll all the Bhaturas and keep them covered with a cloth. Deep fry all one by one at the same time. Serve them hot with Aloo masala as I did or Chole masala. It's your choice. Enjoy!

Oil and Egg-free Whole Wheat Maple Muffins Oil and Egg-free Whole Wheat Maple Muffins
I came up with this recipe based on an oil-free macrobiotic apple muffin recipe and another user's strawberry muffin recipe.Without jam, these muffins are plain enough for 1 year-olds to eat (they are not very sweet). Adding a spoon of jam makes them just sweet enough to appeal to adult palates.Although you spread the jam on the surface, it sinks down during baking, so that when these are done they have nice, gooey, jammy centers. If you don't have whole wheat flour, it's fine to just use normal cake flour.
