  1. 1 kgcarrots shredded
  2. 750 mlmilk
  3. 500 gramsugar
  4. 2 tspfresh malai / cream
  5. 1 tspcardamom powder
  6. 3 tspghee / clarified butter
  7. Dry fruits chopped

Cooking Instructions

    In a heavy bottom pan, add ghee and shredded carrots and saute for few minutes.

    Then add warm milk into it and constantly stir this until the milk gets dissolved.

    Once the milk is dissolved, add sugar and stir it continuously.

    Lastly add fresh malai, cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits and mix well and cook for another few minutes until ghee comes across the sides.

    Transfer this halwa to the heart shape mould and unmould in a plate.

    Decorate with almonds and carrot halwa cake is ready to serve.
