It is a Gujarati dish which we make in winter for kids it is healthy plus it gives protein and also gives immunity .
It is a unique recipe which my nani makes for me and I loved it so I tried to make it because so many children or kids not eat dry fruit and nuts etc.. so we have made a unique recipe . For specially children , and all can eat it 👍😊.

Ingredients

  1. 100 gmdates
  2. 1 packetMarie biscuit
  3. 25 gmAlmonds
  4. 25 gmRaisins
  5. 40 gmDry coconut powder
  6. 30 gmdry coconut powder

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly take out seeds of dates properly then crush it properly by hand only.

    Then add ghee in pan sauté date in ghee, for 8 to 10 minutes on low flame until it changes it colour to golden brown.

    Then off the flame add raisins and almonds mix it well.

    Now take the mixture in plate carefully and cool it down.

    Until it is getting cool lets see middle layer now we have to take Marie biscuit take it in plate and in other plate take out the coconut powder.

    Now the date mixture is cool okie. Now we have to make the layers of Marie biscuit as shown in picture.
    We have to add mixture in between the biscuits and around the biscuits.
    The whole biscuit is cover by mixture of dates now deep it in the coconut powder. And your dates pie is ready 👍.

    You can eat in breakfasts and in snacks also and in children lunch box.
    You can also store in refrigerator.
