I used the carrots and firm tofu I had in the refrigerator, simply flavored with the mentsuyu sauce I also had on hand.
An easy to eat salad that's just flavored with mentsuyu sauce. For 2 to 3 servings. Recipe by Kyoku
Cooking Instructions

Cut the tofu in half lengthwise. Julienne the carrot, about 5 cm long. Boil both the tofu and carrot briefly in lightly salted water. Drain and leave to cool.

- 3
Add the well drained tofu and carrot to to the bowl and mix. Add some finely chopped parsely. Done!

Easy Shallow-Fried Tofu with Mentsuyu Easy Shallow-Fried Tofu with Mentsuyu
Deep-frying tofu is too much work, so I shallow-fried the tofu. I made it because I wanted to recreate a dish I used to have at a Japanese pub. It's a shame that I didn't have 'momiji oroshi' (spicy grated daikon radish) this time. You only need to fry the top and bottom of the tofu pieces at Step 3. You don't have to fry the sides. It's also delicious with 'momiji oroshi' (spicy grated daikon radish).I recommend eating this with cooked soba noodles. They're pretty tasty together. For 2 servings. Incredibly Simple Pork and Tofu with Mentsuyu Incredibly Simple Pork and Tofu with Mentsuyu
I always make rice bowls with meat, but they started to taste even better after I started adding some tofu too.Feel free to use firm or silken tofu, I personally prefer to use silken.Sprinkle over some green onions at the end for a bit of colour.Top off the rice bowl with any sauce left over in the pan at the end.If the flavour is a bit too thin for you, feel free to add some soy sauce or mirin. Tofu and Cabbage Salad Tofu and Cabbage Salad
This is my "super-lazy salad" that I eat quite frequently. Tofu and mentsuyu somehow go really well with cabbage. I wanted to share one of my healthy recipes with you guys. It's better to chop up the cabbage rather than shredding it!Since it's done in a flash, try prepping the tofu just before serving. It'll taste better that way. Please adjust the seasoning to your liking. If it tastes too plain, add a little more mentsuyu to adjust. Recipe by Pabuchan cookpad.japan -
Tofu and Cucumber Salad with Umeboshi-Sesame Dressing Tofu and Cucumber Salad with Umeboshi-Sesame Dressing
I made this when I was out of dressing. It was really good, so I've been relying on it ever since. This is also good with mizuna greens or green bell peppers instead of cucumber. If you leave it standing for too long the tofu will start to exude moisture, so I recommend making it just before you plan to eat it. For 2 servings. Recipe by naganyo cookpad.japan -
