Spring onion potato bread roll (crispy snack with maida)

Ingredients

  1. For stuffing:
  2. 4boiled potatoes
  3. 1/4 cupchopped spring onion
  4. 1chopped onion
  5. 1/4 cupchopped coriander leaves
  6. 1 tbspred chilli powder
  7. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  8. 1 tspcumin powder
  9. 1 tspgaram masala powder
  10. 1 tbspsalt
  11. For bread roll:
  12. 8bread slices
  13. 1/4 cupmaida
  14. 2 tbspcorn flour
  15. 1 cupbread crumbs
  16. 2 cupsoil for deep fry

Cooking Instructions

    Boil the potatoes and mash them... Add the ingredients given in the list to them and mix well...

    Roll it into an oval shape and prepare it. Trim the edegs of bread.. being to roll them with a rolling stick to flatten them.. flatten to a thin sheet.. this prevents the bread from absorbing oil...

    Add flour to a bowl, pour water and mix well...

    Brush the edges with flour mix... place the stuffing prepared previously and roll them. press the edges to seal them tight.
    brush some flour slurry around the edges and seal them properly. else the stuffing will be in oil while deep frying.

    Take the bread I have prepared and dip it in the flour mix, roll it in breadcrumbs, and keep it ready...

    Fry the prepared roll in hot oil until golden brown...

    Now ready to serve with sauce or green chutney...
