Cooking Instructions

Add corn to a mixer jar and blend it roughly.
In a medium-sized bowl, add besan (gram flour), sooji (semolina), and curd. Mix everything well.
Cover the bowl and let the mixture rest for 5 minutes. - 2
After 5 minutes, add all the spices and the crushed corn to the sooji-besan mixture. Mix well.
Then add chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, curry leaves, coriander, and salt.
Finally, add a pinch of baking soda and mix everything thoroughly. - 3
Heat an appe (appam) pan and add about 1/4 teaspoon of oil in each mold.
Pour the batter into the molds and cover with a lid.
After 30 seconds, flip to the other side and cook on low heat for another 30 seconds.
Your delicious corn fritters, made with very little oil, are ready! - 4
Serve them with red chutney and enjoy! 😋
