Ingredients

  1. 2 cupwhole wheat flour
  2. 1 bunchgreen coriander
  3. 1 tspcumin powder
  4. 1 tspcoriander powder
  5. 1 dashgaram masala
  6. 1 dashturmeric powder
  7. 1salt to taste
  8. 1water
  9. 2 tspoil
  10. 2 mediumgreen chillies(chopped)
  11. 3 largeonions(finely chopped)

Cooking Instructions

    in a medium bowl mix all ingredients except water

  2. 2

    mix gently 2 resemble coarse crumbs.

  3. 3

    add enough water 2 form a soft dough.

  4. 4

    divide the dough into equal balls.

  5. 5

    roll each ball into a circle with a rolling pin dusting the parathas with a little flour at intervals until it is .5 cm thick(approx)

    heat a non stick skillet(until it just startes 2 smoke).

  7. 7

    cook paratha on the skillet on both sides until it goldens with a few brown spots by applying a little oil on each side.

    serve with curd,butter or indian pickels

    this is gr8 in lunch boxes!!!as brkfst 2!!!

    tip:dont let the dough rest as the salt dehydrates the onion & the dough tends 2 get soggy which is difficult 2 handle
