Bread is very common item which always kept in our pantry. And after 2-3 days they loose freshness and we don't like to eat them. With these bread pieces we can make so many delicious varieties. Here I made some appam with very few ingredients.

Ingredients

  1. 4-5leftover bread either toasted or plain
  2. 1/4th cup shredded cheese
  3. 2 tsptomato ketchup
  4. 1large egg
  5. 1 tspcrushed black pepper
  6. 1 tsporegano
  7. 1 tspmelted butter or oil

Cooking Instructions

    In a mixer grinder grind the bread pieces coarsely.

  2. 2

    In this coarsely grounded bread add other ingredients except butter/oil and blend again.

  3. 3

    Place the mixture in a bowl. Add little milk to make the mixture into pouring consistency.

    Add fruit salt or eno and mix well.

    Now heat a appam pan. Grease each mould with some butter or oil.

  6. 6

    Pour 1 tbsp of batter to each mould and cover. Cook in medium heat for 3-4 minutes.

    When the batter seems to settle from upside, flip them and cook for more 2 minutes.

    Take out in a serving plate and serve with tomato ketchup.

  9. 9

    Note: Some veggies like diced capsicum and diced carrots can be used in the batter to make it more healthy.
