Combine the buttermilk, salt, and egg in a large mixing bowl

Place the chicken and marinate at room temp for 30 minutes.

Combine all the ingredients for the dredging in a large bowl

Set a wire rack on a baking sheet.

Set the wire rack lined with paper towels underneath.

Remove the meat from the buttermilk to remove excess milk.

Dredge the chicken into the flour mixture. Coat thoroughly.

Press the chicken with your hands to get the flour to stick.

Transfer the chicken to the rack, and leave them for 30 mins

In a deep skillet, heat a 1/2 inch of oil to 350°F.

Gently place 2-3 pieces of chicken into the oil.

Fry the chicken thighs until golden brown on both sides.

NOTE: Only flip your chicken once while frying.

Transfer the chicken to the rack and leave them for 5 mins.

Serve.

Smaller pieces can shorten the brining time. Boneless meat means you don't have to deal with bones when eating!
