Home made tomato sauce for pasta is helpful and saves time. You can add some ingredients to recreate your own pasta for a weeknight :-)

Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Add pasta and cook.

Reduce pasta cooking time by 1min so we FINISH it in the PAN

Meanwhile, oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add tomato sauce and bring to a simmer.

Add tuna, break it up with spoon to incorporate with sauce.

Add olives, fish sauce, and black pepper.

Simmer to adjust the sauce's thickness.

NOTE: season with salt based on the pasta water's saltiness.

Transfer pasta and toss over medium high heat.

Serve.

Pasta water is an essential seasoning for the pasta. If you aren't sure, adjust the saltiness in the sauce instead.
