Ingredients

  1. 1/2 kgminced meat
  2. 3large potatoes
  3. 1onion
  4. 2tomatoes
  5. 3 clovesgarlic
  6. 1medium sized carrot
  7. 1 tbsoil
  8. To tastesalt
  9. To tasteblack pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Peel potatoes and carrot, wash and cube. Chop onions, garlic and tomatoes

  2. 2

    Put oil in a sufuria on medium heat. Fry onions till translucent. Add garlic and fry till cooked

  3. 3

    Add minced meat, chopped carrot and cook stirring. When the meat has changed color add potatoes, tomatoes and seasoning. Don't stir, cover and let cook till all the water is almost gone

    Stir the mixture and add more water to make a thick stew. Adjust seasoning if necessary

  5. 5

    Cover and let simmer till potatoes are well cooked. Serve hot with accompaniment of choice
