Carrot chapati

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put your flour in a large baisan. Add salt to taste and the carrots. Mix altogether
- 2
Add the water bit by bit as you knead until you get a smooth finish. You can occasionally add a little oil at a time to help in making the dough stick together
- 3
Cover with a table cloth and set aside for 30 minutes.
- 4
On a large working place, spread the whole dough, or you can do it in sections, roll it out and apply oil evenly. Cut into desired shape and make balls for the individual chapatis
- 5
When done, cover and set aside for 15minutes. Take each and roll out to the desired shape according to the size of your pan
- 6
Cook each side until it is golden brown. Repeat for all the chapatis. Make sure to put in a hot keeping dish.
- 7
Serve with your favorite stew. Enjoy!

Flat Indian Bread: Chapati Flat Indian Bread: Chapati
At first I could only make tough, not very good chapatis. But by adding more water, kneading the dough well, and letting it rest, I was able to make tender and delicious ones. The amount of water indicated is a guideline only. Please adjust the amount depending on the dough. If the dough is too hard, the chapatis will be hard and dry and not very good. Even if the dough seems too soft, it will improve after resting it, so don't worry. Recipe by hinata cookpad.japan -

Chapati for Indian Curry Chapati for Indian Curry
We love these with homemade curry. They are so simple to make, just knead the dough and fry, that it's a mystery how they always turn out so well. These always turn out nice and crispy. You're really suppose to use whole wheat flour but I can't get it around here (I live in the country, so I use white flour. Recipe by patisier cookpad.japan
