  4. 5 tspoil
  5. 1/2 tspsalt
  6. 1 1/2 cuplukewarm milk
  7. As neededBlack food colour
  8. 2 1/2 tspcocoa powder

Cooking Instructions

total 3.5 hrs
  1. 1

Take a large bowl, now add maida, salt, sugar & yeast. Mix everything well. Then add milk little by little and start kneeding the dough. In between add a tsp of oil to Knead the dough. Knead it with stretch and fold method for about 15 mins. and form a soft dough. Now divide the dough into 2 equal parts.

  2. 2

Keep the white part covered & keep it aside. Now in a small bowl add 2 & 1/2 tsp cocoa powder & 1 tbsp water & firm a thick paste. Now mix this paste with the second dough which you left uncovered & Knead that dough again until the cocoa powder paste gets absorbed by the dough completely. Now you have one brown colour dough & one normal maida dough which you kept aside.

  3. 3

Now divide the brown colour dough into 2 equal parts again. And on one part put a drop of black food colour & Knead into a black dough and the second part of the brown dough, keep it covered.

  4. 4

Now you have 3 colours dough left with you as shown in the image below. Now brush some oil over the doughs seperately & even cover them seperately, in a warm place for about one & half to two hours or until it gets doubled up in size. After 1 & half hours you will notice that the doughs has doubled up in size.

  5. 5

Now Knead each dough for about 2 mins more. Divide them into 6 to 8 equal parts, each.

  6. 6

Now firstly take 1 brown ball out of the dough, give it a cylindrical shape & keep it aside. Second take a black ball out of the dough & roll it like oval. Now place the brown one over the black & seal it from all the sides. Keep the cylindrical shape formed, aside.

  7. 7

Now take a white ball, roll it into oval. Now place the black & brown cylindrical-shaped dough over the white & seal it from all the sides.

  8. 8

Now with the help of your hand, roll the cylindrical-shaped white dough little long & divide it into 2 parts as shown in image1. It will look like this, from inside, as in image 2. Now seal the edges for both the parts as in image 3. Each time you take a ball, cover the dough every time or else it would get dried up.

  9. 9

Now again with the help of your hand, roll both of them little long & keep it aside. Do the same with the rest of the dough balls.

  10. 10

Now press the above formed shape gently. Now grease a bread tin with some oil and place the whole inside it & cover the tin and keep it in a warm place for 30 mins. After 30 mins. it will doubled up in size. Now brush some milk over it and sprinkle some black/white sesame over it.

  11. 11

Now take a kadai for pre-heating with it's base covered with salt and a stand over it. Cover it and pre-heat the kadai for 3 mins on high flame and then 7 to 8 mins. on medium flame. Place the bread tin over the stand. Now cover the kadai & bake it on a low flame for about 30 to 35 mins.

  12. 12

After 35 mins it would be done. Remove it from the kadai & immediately apply some butter over it & cover it with a damp cloth. Leave it as it is for 15 mins. Then demould it & cut them into pieces. Your leopard print bread is now ready to serve..
