Ingredients

  1. 1 cupmoong dal skinned
  2. 1 cupmakhana
  3. 4 tsp coconut grated
  4. 3green chillies
  5. 2 tsp ginger paste
  6. 1/2 cupcoriander leaves chopped
  7. 1/2 cupcarrot chopped finely
  8. 1/2 cupcabbage chopped finely
  9. as neededOil
  10. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  11. 1 tsp jeera
  12. 1 tsp hing
  13. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  14. to tasteSalt
  15. 1 tsp sugar optional

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak moong dal for 3-4hours soak makhana with it.

    Grind moong dal, makhana, coconut, green chilli,ginger to fine batter.

    To that add coriander leaves,salt,sugar mix it well.

    Make tadka with oil mustard, jeera,hing and turmeric powder add chopped carrot and cabbage saute for a while add this to ground batter add water to make thick batter.

    Heat appe pan grease oil pour batter in cover with lid cook for five min.turn other side cook for another 5 min.take out.

    Serve with chutney
