  3. 1/4 tspSalt
  4. 1 tbspnMargarine/butter
  5. 2 tbspnCowboy fat melted
  6. Lukewarm milk 1/4lt or more

Cooking Instructions

2hrs
  1. 1

In a container, measure the flour, add sugar, salt, Margarine and fat and combine them well

  2. 2

Make a well at the center, and pour the milk in bits as you knead, make a soft dough. Add 2tbspn of melted fat and knead for a while... You will get a softer dough

  3. 3

Cover with a Cling or kitchen towel for like 1 hour..,can leave it for several hrs too to rest.

  4. 4

Make sizeable balls as shown, each ball roll into a log

  5. 5

Brush with the melted fat, and cut into threads

  6. 6

Fold the threads and make a rope, then fold it. repeat the process. It needs patience🙇‍♀️

  7. 7

Arrange the folds on a tray, can cover them with a towel too

  8. 8

Roll the folded dough into a round shape of chapati, with the help of flour... Sprinkle amount of flour on a surface as you turn them to make a nice shape. Repeat the process till they are over

  9. 9

I normally pre cook my chapo before I cook them fully on a skillet

  10. 10

Now you can use the melted fat (cowboy) to cook... Apply it generously as you flip them on both sides to cook well

  11. 11

    Chapatis are ready.. Enjoy!
