Pickled Beetroot and Turnips

Ingredients

Many people
  1. 1.5 kgTurnips
  2. 0.5 kgBeetroot
  3. 3-4 TablespoonRough Salt
  4. 1.5 CupsWhite vinegar
  5. 2-3 litersFresh water (or to fill the whole jar)

Cooking Instructions

    Chop Turnips and Beetroot in the shape of Fries

  2. 2

    Place the chopped ingredients in layers in the air tight jar to fill it up.

  3. 3

    Add the Salt then vinegar then water.

  4. 4

    Cover the lid

  5. 5

    Flip the air tight jar upside down for 12 hours only then flip it back and taste it if it needs more salt or anything.

  6. 6

    You can eat it after 2 days
