Ingredients

  1. Matumbo half kg
  2. 3 cupswater
  3. Tomatoes
  4. Onions
  5. Salt
  6. Cooking oil
  7. cubeRoyco
  8. Garlic powder
  9. Coriander powder

Cooking Instructions

    Boil your matumbo for 1hour and thirty minutes or even more to soften

  2. 2

    Add oil to the fully boiled matumbo

  3. 3

    Deep fry for like 20minutes.

    In another cooking pot, add your oil and onions and let them fry till golden.

  5. 5

    Add your tomatoes, royco cube, coriander powder and garlic powder and salt. Let it simmer.

    Add your deep fried(not crunchy though) matumbo.

  7. 7

    Mix well. Let it simmer for like 2-3 minutes.
    Serve while still hot with ugali and veges.
