Cake tree

A store that I used to work for was always having little competitions for the employees to pit their talents against each other. This is one of my contributions. I was later asked to make several by a fellow employee for a family party. #ChristmasGift

Christmas Tree Cake Christmas Tree Cake
I thought of this so that I could brighten up the table at a Christmas party. You can cut it into enough pieces for everyone, or everyone can eat it with a spoons... It's a very convenient cake.*First decide if you will be able to fit a cake of this height in the refrigerator for cooling. Putting the leftover ingredients into a glass container is a cute idea. For the Chiffon Spongecake, I used "Yosshii's" recipe "Chocolat Blanc Noel". I left out the chocolate... And added 3 eggs, 60 g granulated sugar, 60 g cake flour, 15 g butter, and 20 ml milk to make it a very moist and delicious spongecake. Recipe by Ranpuai cookpad.japan -
Tree-Shaped Christmas Cake Tree-Shaped Christmas Cake
The tree-shaped cake that I caught a glimpse of on TV was nice. So I experimented to make something similar. There is cream around the edges as well, so I don't think you need so much on the inside. (One box of heavy cream might not be enough if you add in lots of cream filling.) Recipe by pinaka cookpad.japan -
Christmas Tree Christmas Cakes Christmas Tree Christmas Cakes
I wanted to make a cupcake version of the tree cake in. It's common to use a butter cream to decorate cupcakes, but I don't really like the taste. So, I tried making a cheese cream and it was super delicious!Be careful not to whip the heavy cream too much or it will become hard and difficult to mix when you add the lemon juice. When the cream gets to the ribbon stage, add the cream cheese, but if making the matcha version, add the cream cheese when it gets to the soft peaks stage. It's easy to make if you use 200 ml of heavy cream and 50 g of sugar whipped until the ribbon stage, then divide it in half. Fig Cake Fig Cake
This is a fig version of a fruit butter cake that came from my British mother-in-law who makes it with prunes. The original prune version tasted so delicious, so I looked for a good fruit substitute in Japan, and found figs to be the perfect fit!Since fresh fruit is used to bake this cake, it is also delicious on the day it is baked. The cake becomes more moist the next day, adding another level of delight. Tropical Cake with Pineapple & Coconut Tropical Cake with Pineapple & Coconut
I had some leftover pineapple, so I thought I'd use some to make a cake. I wanted to add a lot of pineapple to the batter, so I decided to use a pan that would allow me to bake a thin tart in order to bake it all the way through.I didn't want it to be too dry, so I added some almond flour to it.This is a cake that just requires mixing, so I think it's easy to make. If you can't get fresh pineapple, you can use canned pineapple.Chill it in the refrigerator, then cut. That way, you can cleanly cut it without worrying about it crumbling. Try to bring it back to room temperature before serving it, though. You'll be surprised by how it's so soft and moist! Recipe by Marimo1016 cookpad.japan -
Chocolate Cake Chocolate Cake
I made this cake imagining a cake which was made in a cartoon on Valentine. If you know what I am talking about, please give it a try.The amount of sugar for the pound cake is for the cake to be slightly sweetened. Adjust the amount to your liking If you make a cut in the dough before baking the cake, the cake would be baked nicely. Please make the time to chill after putting the creamy chocolate in between the cake to be at least 3 hours. Unless it will fall apart when you take it out. Recipe by Sarichirusan cookpad.japan -
Chocolate Cake Chocolate Cake
Made this few week ago we frozen the slices and had 60g each every Saturday and Sunday with ice cream. This time I used butter instead of margarine and added 1 egg plus used large instead of medium. This cake is soft with crunchy top and sides. And everyone who tried it had it eat whole portion in 1 go as apposed to wanting to save some. Irmgard Gater -
