2(about 10 1/2 oz) potatoes
2 cupsshredded cabbage
1 slicebacon
1-1 1/2 ozcheese
1 1/2 tablespoonsbutter, divided
2 tablespoonspotato starch
3 tablespoonsall-purpose flour
1egg
Salt and pepper, to taste

Cooking Instructions

Peel and julienne the potatoes, and cut the bacon into 1/2-inch pieces. Mix all the ingredients together.

Melt 1 1/2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet and add the mixture by spoonfuls. Cook over low heat until both sides are thoroughly cooked.

Add 1/2 tablespoon of butter and cook on high heat until crispy and golden brown.

Serve on a plate. You can eat it as is, or enjoy it with ponzu sauce or a mix of soy sauce and chili oil for extra flavor.
