  1. 310 gCake Flour
  2. 16 gUnsweetened Cocoa Powder
  3. 5 gBaking Soda
  4. 5 gSalt
  5. 115 gUnsalted Butter
  6. 300 gSugar
  7. 2Eggs
  8. 220 gVegetable Oil
  9. 5 mlWhite Vinegar
  10. 10 mlVanilla Essence
  11. 240 gButter -Milk
  12. 30 gRed - Food - Coloring

Cooking Instructions

    Pre - heat the oven at 180° c

    Grease with butter and dust with flour the cake pans

  3. 3

    Weigh all the ingredients

    Carefully sieve the dry ingredients; Flour, Cocoa Powder,Baking Soda,Salt

    Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl

    In a separate bowl,mix the vegetable oil,vinegar, vanilla essence and the butter milk

  7. 7

    Add the mixed dry ingredients into the wet ingredients mixture

  8. 8

    Whisk the mixture,maintaining the direction of whisking

  9. 9

    Gradually add in the red food coloring

  10. 10

    Mix until the batter is evenly mixed and coloured

  11. 11

    Pour the batter into the prepared baking tins

  12. 12

    Bake for 30minutes

  13. 13

    Check using a skewer if the cake is well done.The skewer should come out dry
