Basil Butter Basil Butter
Every year, I used to eyeball the ingredients to make this butter, but I ended up with this recipe now. Maybe the authentic kind doesn't use lemon juice or butter, but I use them anyway because my family likes it.I make this butter in bulk whenever I harvest the basil in my home garden. I usually freeze it in an airtight container. I use this for cooking for a whole year until when I'm able to harvest my basil again. Recipe by chima@ cookpad.japan -

Dry Stir-Fried Basil with Ground Beef 🌶️🌶️ Dry Stir-Fried Basil with Ground Beef 🌶️🌶️
Basil dishes vary from home to home. This time, a friend's father taught me how to make basil with ground beef, and it feels like I've found my ideal version. I had to write it down because it tastes just like my favorite restaurant's version—dry and beautifully colored.Personally, I love this style of basil dish. Feel free to adjust the ingredients to your liking. ครัวนุ้งแคทTranslated from Cookpad Thailand -
Brown butter and sage linguine with chicken Brown butter and sage linguine with chicken
Some combinations just work, like apples and pork, chocolate and wine, and, in this case, brown butter and sage. Makes a nice alternative when you don't want either tomatoes or cream in your pasta. A little chicken breast gives the dish some heft, while a squirt of lemon livens the party. Robert Gonzal -
Sauteed Beef in Garlic Butter Soy Sauce Sauteed Beef in Garlic Butter Soy Sauce
My husband loved it when I made steak flavored with garlic, butter, and soy sauce, so I started making a before-payday version using inexpensive thinly cut meat. This is great with shimeji mushrooms or spinach. I buy beef when it's on sale, and make this recipe when I don't have time. I used brisket offcuts this time, but I think it's good made with other cuts of beef. It's best to use a cut with some fat. Ultra-Easy "Roast" Beef Made with Aussie Beef Ultra-Easy "Roast" Beef Made with Aussie Beef
Roast beef made in an oven is often either undercooked or overcooked... and beef that's raw on the inside is tataki, not roast beef. This recipe is for boiled beef rather than roast beef maybe? Nevertheless, I came to this method as a way of ensuring that the beef is cooked to the right degree of doneness. If the meat is too cold when you start cooking it, it will be raw on the inside so be careful! As I wrote in Step 1, bring the meat to room temperature or as close to it as possible before you start cooking it! Even if the meat doesn't have a good color right after it's cut, it will look nicer after a short time. You can use whatever vegetables you like except for potatoes in the cooking water, but I personally think you have to have celery and leek. Bamboo shoot skins are a great addition, but they are seasonal. Recipe by Tetsuamru cookpad.japan -
