Salad Dressing Salad Dressing
Use this sauce when it's hot outside for salads or cold shabu shabu. When you make this with regular winter-stored onions, let it rest for 2 to 3 days in the refrigerator after making it. This will soften the flavors and make the dressing tastier.I recommend making this when sweet onions are in season. Please see, Japonaise Sauce For Steak and Hamburgers. For about 300 ml. Colorful Carrot Salad with Lemon Dressing Colorful Carrot Salad with Lemon Dressing
Hello!!! Did everyone have a good weekend? I hope so and I do hope that all is well…We had a very nice weekend it was the first one that we went out in a long long long time, we went and visited some friends who have moved to Germany from Greece. Our friend actually is a base player in a group and they were having a live concert on Saturday night so this gave us the opportunity to hear him live again!! I think its been 10 years since the last time I have been to a live concert. Germany had wonderful weather this weekend, Saturday night was just lovely, warm, stars were out, people dancing, and having a great time. 🙂Sunday we were invited over to some other friends house for lunch, the food was delicious BBQ, 🙂 we got a chance to catch up on everything and well we just had a lovely time. 😉 Just a small shout out thanking Katerina and hubby so much for inviting us to their home and their wonderful hospitality. (Before I forget Charlie had a great time too!!!) 🙂Since food was way to much this weekend, today’s lunch is light and salad is the only option. I ate Carrot Salad for the first time at my mother-in-laws :)…I remember that she placed it on the table and I made some sort of facial expression because she caught it hahahahahahah…and she remarked..:) Don’t get me wrong I love my mother-in-law, I have been very lucky she is like a second mom to me, anyway because I love salad I was absolutely going to try it, and have been making it myself since then. 🙂 Foodzesty -

Chinese Chicken Salad Dressing Chinese Chicken Salad Dressing
So Chinese Chicken Salad was invented in an era in our culinary timeline in which anything that had soy sauce in it was considered Asian and everything Asian was thought to be Chinese. Its now somewhat politically incorrect and obsolete title aside, the reason it's still served in restaurants all over the country today is that, well, it's yummy. To make a super easy weeknight meal, buy yourself a packet of mixed salad greens, some of those La Choy Fried Chow Mein Noodles, a rotisserie chicken, green onions and cilantro, maybe some bean sprouts if you're so inclined, come home, take 10 minutes to make the dressing, throw everything together in a big mixing bowl, toss, and enjoy a light, healthful and delicious dinner! x
