Deviled Eggs in a Salad

Have you went to make deviled eggs and part of the hard boiled egg is torn by peeling the shells off? If so here is a good way of dealing with it. Slice the messed up part off and put that messed up part in to the salad part. I would have had 12 deviled Eggs in the salad but only 7 of them were not messed up so the other 5 egg halves went into the salad mix.

Ingredients

  1. Salad-----------------------
  2. 4 cupiceberg lettuce base with Vegetables
  3. Deviled Eggs--------------
  4. As neededwater to boil eggs with
  5. 6eggs
  6. 1 tablespoonyellow prepared mustard
  7. To tastekosher salt
  8. 2-1/2 tablespoonsmayonnaise
  9. 1/3 teaspoononion powder
  10. 1/2 teaspoondill weed
  11. 1 tablespoonchopped parsley
  12. 1/2 teaspoonground paprika
  13. To tasteyour favorite salad dressing

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the eggs well I am using farm fresh never "painted" like the ones in the store. Add the eggs to the pot and just cover with cold water. Boil the eggs.

    Boil 10 minutes after it starts to boil.

    These are boiled I setting in the refrigerator overnight.

    Peel and rinse the eggs. Cut any of the messed up sides and add to the salad mix. Slice the tomatoes into wedges. Salt the tomatoes with kosher salt.

    Add the yokes to a bowl.

  6. 6

    Add mustard and spices to the yokes. Mix well

  7. 7

    Add the mix and fill the egg halves. Place them on top of the salad mix and add tomato wedges in between the Deviled eggs. Sprinkle with paprika for looks.

    Dress with your salad with your dressing, I used French Dressing. Serve I hope you enjoy!!
