Ingredients

45 minutes
About 8 slices
  1. 2 cupsflour
  2. 3very ripe bananas, mashed
  3. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  4. 1 teaspoonsbaking soda
  5. 1 cupsgranulated white sugar(quantity can be reduced)
  6. I egg
  7. 1/2 cupmilk
  8. 1/4butter or vegetable oil
  9. 1 teaspoonvanilla essence

Cooking Instructions

    In a medium bowl, cream sugar and butter/oil. Add egg then mashed banananas and fold in.

    Add vanilla essence and mix.

    Mix flour, salt and baking soda and sift 3 to 4 times.

  4. 4

    Add half ten milk, then flour, keep alternating. Use folding method to fold the ingredients together until all is incorporated.

    In a small bowl mash the bananas to a consistent of your liking.

    Transfer to an already greased 8 inch baking tin or 400 g bread tin and bake in an 180degree preheated oven for 40 minutes.

    Enjoy with a beverage of choice. Goes really well with coffee. Enjoy!
