This banana bread is the perfect way to use up ripe bananas and couldn’t be easier to make! Incredibly moist, lightly sweet, and a crowd-favorite every time.

Preheat oven to 325 F.

In a large bowl, mash bananas.

If using apple sauce, add it into the bowl with the mashed bananas. Add in oil, sugar, vanilla and eggs. Mix until well-combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon until combined.

Combine the wet and dry ingredients together. Do not overmix.

Stir in chocolate chips, if using.

Bake in a greased loaf pan for 50-60 minutes and enjoy!
