Cucumbers are low in calories but contain high content of vitamins and minerals, like vitamin C, Vitamin K, potassium and magnesium.

Due to their high water content, eating cucumbers lead to balanced hydration.

So, I as a nutritionist would recommend that taking any kind of natural cucumber juices could be suitable for summer.

Cucumber lemonade is refreshing, delicious, easy to make and suitable for this weather.

Ingredients

  1. 5large cucumbers
  2. 1large lemon
  3. 1/2 cupsugar or as needed
  4. Enough water(i used cold water)

Cooking Instructions

    Peel and cut cucumbers into small pieces

  2. 2

    Combine cucumber with sugar in a blender. Add enough water(i added cold water) and blend for 2-3 minutes till sugar dissolved.

    Sieve, add water and squeeze out the liquid

  4. 4

    Squeeze lemon, mix and serve

  5. 5

    For garnishing, slice cucumbers into thin layers. Place it in a cup. Add ice cubes to hold the cucumber slices. Pour the juice in the cup and serve.
