Mixed butter cookies
But how relaxing is it to make cookies at home with the little helper? We like it so much; this time it was the butter biscuits (recipe taken from my new book "Christmas Sweets") to which I made some small changes and covered some with chocolate, others with cinnamon powder and others with cane sugar 😀 Simple and quick to to prepare, butter biscuits are excellent for breakfast or as a snack, they can be kept for a few days in a tin box 😉

Halloween Ghost Spice Cookies (Zimtsterne Recipe) 👻
Zimtsterne (“cinnamon star” in German) is a dense, gluten-free, cinnamon and spice cookie that is traditionally made for the Christmas season. I didn’t want to wait until Christmas to make these, so I made Halloween ghosts! The crisp, white meringue icing works perfectly for these cute little ghost treats!I’m definitely adding these to my Christmas cookie list, and will make them in the traditional star shape. They are slightly chewy with a wonderful blend of warm spices. Plus, they’re a great option for one of my friends who can’t eat dairy or gluten! 🎃Happy Halloween!! 🎃This recipe came from “Bake From Scratch.” Note that the original recipe did not make nearly enough icing, so I had to make more. I included this extra icing in the recipe below.#Holiday #Spooky #Autumn #Fall #Dessert #Fun

Lemony Meltaway Cookies
These cookies have a slightly crumbly melt-in-your-mouth texture. If lemon isn’t your thing, any other citrus fruit could conceivably work. The glaze is optional. Alternatively, you could sprinkle the cookies with powdered sugar while they’re still warm. Or, you could skip any topping entirely and eat them as is.#Holiday #Christmas #Dessert #Gift

German Cornflake Cookies
This kind of cookie is one of my mother-in-law's Christmas cookies. I usually don't like raisins, but I enjoy eating the ones in these cookies.Using a generous amount of cornflakes makes the cookies taste delicious, so you can add a little more. But if you do, the cookies will break easily, so adjust the amount accordingly. Please use cornflakes without sugar or flavouring. Recipe by shinoby
