Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsflour
  2. 100g/ 2/3 cup melted butter
  3. 1egg
  4. 1 cupmilk
  5. 1/2 cupsugar
  6. 1/2 tspsalt
  7. 1 tbspyeast
  8. 1egg yolk
  9. Sesame seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Combine and mix milk, egg, melted butter and sugar

  2. 2

    Add yeast, salt, flour into the wet ingredient and mix well, let it rise for 30mins to 1 hour.

    Knead the dough to become smoother, flatten the dough by hand and spread it or use a rolling pin to flatten to a circle. Transfer it to a baking tray and let it rise a little.

    Use your finger tips to make a border around the edge and create a quilt pattern or criss-cross. Wash it with egg yolk and sprinkle the sesame seed, bake in the oven. Enjoy😘

I followed the recipe, but the bread was way too sweet. I haven't seen other recipes adding 1/2 cup of sugar (64 gram, or 22 cubes), that seems so awfully much. Anyone else thoughts on this?
