Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cookies Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cookies
I made some peanut butter cookies for a peanut butter-loving friend by referencing a foreign recipe site. I made it many times, adjusting the combination of ingredients, until I came up with just the right balance that everyone loves. The corn starch gives it a great, crunchy texture. It's soft and fluffy when just baked (so soft, you won't be able to move them around). That's why you should be sure to let it cool on the paper before handling them. If they break apart while they're still warm, you can try forming them back together again and rearranging the shapes. If you let it sit for a day, the flavors will settle. Strawberry Chocolate Cookies for Valentine's Day Strawberry Chocolate Cookies for Valentine's Day
I saw a recipe for chocolate holly leaf cookies and wanted to try a strawberry version. I halved the ingredients and created these cookies. If you add a bit more red food coloring than you think you'll need, the cookies will be distinctly pink! In my pictures, I used a little less than 2 drops. Because the cookies will lose their pink color if you bake them for too long, adjust the baking time required to your oven. Once they've finished baking, cool as they are. They'll become crunchy! Recipe by Orenjirody cookpad.japan -
