Double Bean and Beef Soup

Ingredients

  1. 6 cupschopped cabbage
  2. 1-1/2 poundsground beef
  3. 12 ouncesfrozen cauliflower
  4. 1/2 poundsmoked sausage
  5. 1small onion diced
  6. 1 stickbutter
  7. 1-1/2 quartbeef broth
  8. 2 teaspoonsummer savory
  9. 1 teaspoonground white pepper
  10. 15 ouncescanned Cannellini beans
  11. 15 ouncescanned black beans drained
  12. 1-1/2 cupsEnglish peas
  13. To tasteValentina hot sauce optional

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Heat the broth add in the ground beef, cabbage and cauliflower. When the cabbage wilts add the butter over the top cut into Pat's. Simmer 20 minutes drain the black beans and add. Add all the ingredients except peas and spices. Simmer covered 12 minutes.

    Add the spices incorporate well. Simmer for 45 minutes. Add the peas in frozen. Stir cover take off the heat let rest 7 minutes.

    Serve add hot sauce if you want. I hope you enjoy!!!
