Shrimp and Broccoli Tartare Style Croquettes Shrimp and Broccoli Tartare Style Croquettes
This year Valentines Day falls on a weekday, and my boyfriend hates chocolates, and I was at a loss for what to do... So I figured, why not make croquettes?! lol. It took a lot of effort to make fried food on a weekday, but I gave it my all! My boyfriend was happy with the end result These croquettes were made with spring in mind. I was actually going to make them with broccolini, but they were sold out that day, so I used broccoli instead...You can use both the stems and florets of the broccoli. Using 50 g each of the stems and florets of the broccoli will improve the color and texture of the croquettes. Recipe by ochikeron cookpad.japan -

Sweet Potato Croquettes Sweet Potato Croquettes
I got a lot of sweet potatoes as a gift, so I made them into croquettes: my children's favorite. The texture depends on what kind of sweet potatoes you use. If you don't like it flaky, adjust thickness with milk or fresh cream. I tried to keep the other ingredients to a minimum to highlight the natural taste of the sweet potatoes. Turkey Croquettes Turkey Croquettes
This is my version of a recipe I saw somewhere once that was good for leftover turkey. I typically use a low-fat ground turkey the rest of the year when Thanksgiving leftovers are not to be had. You'll see I use egg whites or "egg beaters" egg substitute to reduce the fat. Serve with rice pilaf, roasted red potatoes or mashed potatoes. Freeze and reheat in a toaster oven for a quick meal another day. Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if you wish. Reidphoto -

Our Family's Sweet Potato Croquettes Our Family's Sweet Potato Croquettes
My mother used to make these quite often. At my parent's place, they preferred ground chicken, but our family prefers ground pork because my husband loves heavy meals.Try these out with ground chicken as well -- they'll turn out tasty and light. If you use katakuriko (corn starch), you'll be able to shape them without difficulty. Even children can help you because it's so easy to shape. The heart-shaped ones were made by my son. Your kids can make mini-sized croquettes that'll be perfect for bentos! If you make a lot and freeze before frying, they'll save you time the next time you want to make them. Seafood Croquettes Seafood Croquettes
I had a bbq over the weekend and made some mashed potatoes as a side dish. Frequently, I cook too much food because I feel guilty about leaving hot coals on the grill. I don’t like eating the same thing over and over, so I made some croquettes to give these mashed potatoes a new lease on life. Karl
