Ingredients

  1. 1whole yam
  2. Already cooked Minced meat
  3. 1large onion
  4. Scotch bonnets
  5. 3fresh red peppers
  6. 5large eggs
  7. Seasonings
  8. Pinchsalt
  9. Bread crumbs
  10. Oil to fry

Cooking Instructions

    Peel yam, rinse, dice and in a large pot, add the diced yam, a pinch of salt and water to the level of the yam in the pot and cook until smooth and soft.

    Rinse the veggies and grind them in a blender but it should not be a smooth paste.

    In another pot, add the grinded scotch bonnets and onions and add 1 spoon of oil to fry. After for about 5-10 minutes, add the cooked minced meat, stir and add some seasonings to taste.

    Mash the yam until soft(Though I prefer it not that soft) and add the minced meat mixture to it. Mix until everything is well mixed.

    Break eggs, add a bit of seasonings to taste and keep aside. Scoop the yam mixture and roll out ball shapes, then dip it in the egg and then roll it on the bread crumbs.

    Fry in a deep fryer until golden brown. Enjoy. OH YUM😍😋😋 #maherzkitchen❤
