This basic bean dip is easier to make than a homemade hummus and is one of my favorite go-to spreads for bread. It has quite a bit of garlic, so if you're not too crazy about garlic, reduce to 3 cloves. I have also made other variations using different herbs, chiles and even Tabasco that are equally as delicious. Feel free to add your favorite herbs! If you are using canned beans, one can will do the job.

Im having vegan friends for diner this evening. So wanted a simple cheap dipping sauce for apertive. Serve with grissini,picos or tortilla chips

I normally cook kebabs on BBQ but this recipe was asked for. I also filled pitta bread with it.

This is an easy and fresh tasting savoury dip or spread which is great as an appetiser, lunch or snack. Serving this with Prosciutto, Palma ham or cherry Tomatos balances the slight bitterness you get with broad beans, although the dip is great on its own.

This is a dip I originally tasted at a booth in our local farmer's market where they sell homemade jalapeño based jams, jellies, and mustards. They make it with mango jalapeño jam, which is what I use, but any hot pepper jam or jelly will do. I've made a few tweaks to my own version which I believe make it even better than the original. Makes a great holiday party, tailgate, or potluck dish!

This looks fancy-ish for a pizza but was actually a very simple dough to make and an easy technique to implement, with stellar results. I will be making this again, not necessarily for dinner but perhaps as one of the options for a buffet brunch or as a contribution to a potluck or tailgate party. You could make it as is, or add prosciutto or your favorite pizza toppings, or you could even make a cinnamon-sugar version for breakfast as well.
