Stir Fried Pork and Cabbage with Ketchup and Miso Stir Fried Pork and Cabbage with Ketchup and Miso
I won a drawing to be a product tester for Kagome brand ketchup, so I thought up this recipe. I was able to use up some leftover cabbage that was turning yellow. The color was covered up by the ketchup, and everyone fought over this dish at dinner.I used a tomato ketchup from Kagome, but you can use any ketchup you like. For 2 servings. Spring cabbage and pork stir-fry with miso and oyster sauce Spring cabbage and pork stir-fry with miso and oyster sauce
I wanted to make a good use of spring cabbage. The flavour of miso and oyster sauce mix is absolutely delicious.I used 2 large leaves of cabbage for this recipe. If your cabbage seems smaller in size, I would suggest you using a little more than that (3 to 4 leaves). The sauce is quite rich in flavour so you can be generous with the amount of vegetables you add to the pan. The finished dish will be as delicious if you swap japanese leek with onion. Recipe by Nanohana cookpad.japan -
Spring Cabbage and Pork Belly with Miso Spring Cabbage and Pork Belly with Miso
When thinking of this recipe, I created a spin on twice cooked pork.I cooked this using leftovers in my fridge. When I initially made this, the result was not what I expected, but perhaps it's not so bad if you think of it as something else.Use a wok or deep frying pan.The spring cabbage cooks quickly, but if using normal cabbage, microwave first before cooking to soften. As there will be cooking liquid left over, you could add vermicelli noodles to the dish. Chinese Cabbage and Pork Stir-Fry with Miso and Mayonnaise Chinese Cabbage and Pork Stir-Fry with Miso and Mayonnaise
*I experimented with various flavours to use up the Chinese cabbage I had around.*I used a healthier variety of mayonnaise.*It won't be watery if you stir-fry quickly over high heat.*When you cook a large portion of Chinese cabbage at one time, it'll release some water and lower the temperature of the pan. If you have too much water in the pan, adjust the seasonings, and lightly thicken with katakuriko. It's also delicious that way too. For 2 servings. Recipe by putimiko cookpad.japan -

Please try it for yourself...you'll be surprised too!Make the onion and ponzu sauce sauce before stir frying the other ingredients, so that it can rest and marinate while you cook. You can use whatever pork cut you like. I used coarsely chopped thinly sliced pork this time. It's cheap!Don't add any extra ingredients. Just try making it as described! It will surprise you! Recipe by MarkH cookpad.japan -
