Creamy Curried Samp

Looks like it but these are not scrambled eggs okay!
What is samp? Samp is food consisting of dried corn kernels that have been stamped and chopped until broken, but not as finely ground as mealie-meal or mielie rice.
My mom makes Samp and jugo beans or Samp and beans or just plain Samp. I was taught this recipe by Ausi Thabiso, it creamy and quick.
Samp takes quite a while to cook so I buy it cooked from the shops and freeze it.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
On medium heat fry onion and add curry and turmeric and continue cooking till soft and fragrant.
- 2
Add cooked Samp and increase heat a bit. Cook Samp in curried onions for 10-12 minutes. Add cream and stir and cover. Turn of heat and don’t remove from stove. Add salt and serve with protein.
