You see one thing abt beans is you can never go wrong with it😉as beans itself is a good source of protein added with fish you get a taste of double protein and that is a good news 😉as you will be eating double dose of proteins at one go,so brave your eyes and calm your mind as i will tke you into a step by step on how i make my own type of beans balls that is super easy and very healthy and require less ingredients💃💃 #FPPC

Ingredients

  1. 4 cupswhite eyes beans soaked
  2. 4 piecesfried fish shreded(sukumbiya)
  3. 4carrots grated
  4. 2green pepper chopped
  5. Parsely chopped
  6. 15scotch bonnet +1 big tattashe blended
  7. 2big onion chopped finely
  8. 10seasoning cubes
  9. 1 tbspnsalt
  10. 1 tbspncurry
  11. 1 tbspnrosemary +thyme
  12. 1 tbspncumin
  13. 1 cupflour for coating
  14. Dipping batter
  15. 2 cupsflour
  16. 1 tbspnbaking powder
  17. 1tspn curry
  18. 4seasoning cubes
  19. 1 cup+1/2 cup water

Cooking Instructions

    In a pressure pot add in your soaked beans +1tbspn salt and 1tbspn curry,then add enough water to cover it up,turn on heat and close with presure pot lid and cook for 40-45min,untill well cooked.

    After it is done mash the beans into a more fine puree,to it add grated carrots,parsely,fish and pepper mix

    Then add in onion,and spices followed by seasonings

    Mix everything all together untill well combined,taste to ensure all is okay

    Now for the dipping batter,add in all the dry ingredients mentioned and mix them,then add water to form a thick batter

    Whisk well to avoid lumps.

    Now back to the beans mixture,scoop your desired mashed beans mixture and mould into a fine ball,then dip in flour to coat it well

    As shown,repeat till all are done

    Add oil in a deep pan,then gently dip each ball into the batter use a spoon to get the coated ball out of the batter

    And dip in hot oil,fry for 3mins untill well fried and crisp

    Drain excess oil into a tissue paper or colender and serve plain or with ketchup

    It actually taste very very nice,super easy for iftar💃💃💃😘
