Bacon wrapped dates stuffed with ricotta cheese

Not a terribly original recipe but a favorite easy to make appetizer!

This recipe is really easy but makes you look really fancy and if you put a lot on effort on it but it's so simple and versatile.

I made my homemade spinach and artichoke cheese dip and had some left over my sister wanted stuffed Zucchinis and this is what I came up with.

This is a very simple stuffed mushroom filled with a combination of cheeses to make them full flavored, creamy with some heat. The bacon is, well just delicious with the cheese and mushrooms! Serve as an appetizer or a side dish or even on a salad.

I'd been wanting to make bacon wrapped jalapeños for tailgating ever since I'd seen an ad in a cooking magazine. I also thought of jalapeño poppers and had eaten gorgonzola/goat cheese stuffed figs/dates (yes I've had all varieties) before. I opted for the easiest to obtain/cheapest ingredients, but cooking time will probably differ if you opt for prosciutto over bacon (o:

These breadsticks are great as an appetizer, or to go with soups, salads and stews. They are also really delicious with eggs for breakfast and brunch!
