Cooking Instructions

Remove the seeds from dates and cut it into small pieces. Chop all nuts in small pieces.

Take a pan add 1 tblspn Ghee in that. Add chopped dates in that and cook it on low flame.

After some time add all nuts. Mix it well.

Transfer everything in another vessel. Add one tblspn ghee, bind it. It will be hot, be careful but don't allow it to cool.

Divide into two parts. Take a plastic cover. Spread poppy seeds on that and roll the dates and nut on that.

Fold it well and tight. Keep it in the fridge for minimum two hours.

Cut it into equal portions. Enjoy the sugar-free sweet.

Cinnamon Roll Bread (baking without an oven!)
It is not a swiss roll, but a whole cinnamon swirl bread. This bread is out of this world! The cinnamon filling plus the local baking gives it a different taste and nice aroma that you'll love at first bite!I wanted to bake in my pot. I have passion for making local things, homemade things, and bringing out the simplicity of what others thought it is difficult.But what should i bake in the pot? This time i am not going to bake a cake. Local cake baking is very common and quite simple. And i made that several times. I would want to try other stuffs.Okay may be i should bake a Bread? a cinnamon roll? Or a Swiss roll?But how can i make a swiss roll in my pot? My oven tray is very large, and i don't have a large pot that'll equip the whole tray. I have been thinking and planning for days, and finally i came up with the idea of baking a whole "cinnamon swirl bread" that looks like a "swiss roll". #bakeabreadThis bread is not like the normal mini cinnamon roll, because i baked the whole roll without cutting. This make it simpler than cinnamon rolls.Don't hesitate to try this bread recipe and the local baking method and tell me what you observe.


Fish roll
Fish roll is one of the Nigerian street food. I so much love this recipe. When I was in secondary school I always loved to buy it. I decided To make this yummy fish roll with flaky dough and delicious fillings. OMG🥺 it was so delicious and my family and I really enjoyed it. I’m not exaggerating but you need to try this. Egg rolls 2
Basically it's another take on the classic egg roll recipe. The only difference is the use of yeast in place of baking powder. You get a much softer dough around your egg roll (like puff puff) unlike the baking powder egg roll that has a Buns-like dough. I personally prefer this recipe. You also get more egg rolls with this recipe. For the baking powder version, you get 5-6 egg rolls using 2 cups of flour but with this, you get 10

Mock cinnamon rolls (Milo rolls)
This is probably my most complimented snack! Everyone loved it. It's definitely one of my favorites too.I decided to try making the cinnamon paste filling with Milo instead of cinnamon because the first time I tried making real cinnamon rolls, a few years ago, it tasted great but the cinnamon scent was too empowering for my HSP brain.So I tried this and it came out extra amazing.You can use chocolate spread (like Nutella or homemade cocoa powder choco spread) in place of the Milo filling if you want to.*Because I'm a homemade-junkie I used my homemade condensed milk.

Tiger nut is healthy and delicious 😋 and is my favorite local drink. Somuch goodness loaded 😋😋 hmmm omitting sugar in this recipe is absolutely fine, but you may add honey or milk when ready to drink,but I enjoyed it plain.
