It is very tasty and healthy dish. Famous in North India. I like it so much.
Cooking Instructions

Boil the chopped sag for 4/ 5 whistles on medium flame

Chop the onions,Ginger and tomatoes,or tomatoes may be grated

Remove the saag and cool it.Mash it properly with hands.

Heat oil in a pan,put chopped onions and ginger. Stir it.Add turmeric powder, green chillies.Then add grated tomatoes, Cook it until the gravy leaves the oil.

Put mashed saag and mix properly and cook for 15/20 minutes until the water soaked.

Remove it. Then Take another small pan and heat 1 tsp oil.put Heeng, Raii and full red chillies and give tadka to the ready saag.

Decorate it with butter pieces, while we serve it.

To make Makki Roti---Take maize floor,put step by step water, as it required to make a tight dough of it.

Take handful of dough and make a ball, press it and turn reversible movement to make roti. Or place the plastic envelope on both side. Place it on the rolling board, give shape of roti with the help of roller. Put in on the hot pan. Turn it on both sides to cook properly.

Remove an paste some butter or desi ghee on it.
