Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsflour
  2. 10 g (1 package)yeast
  3. 1/2 tbspnSalt
  4. 1/3 cupvegetable oil
  5. 1/2Tbsn sugar
  6. 1 cuproom temperature water
  7. 1/2 cuproom temperature water (again)

Cooking Instructions

    Mix flour, yeast & salt.

    Add Vegetable oil, sugar, room temperature water then mix.

    Add the rest of water & keep mixing. Once it begins to form a thick texture take out the dough on a well floured surface.

    Knead the dough, add pinch fulls of flour and keep kneading for 15 minutes.

    Let rest for 30 minutes

    Knead again to remove any air pockets for 10 minutes then let rest for 30 minutes.

    Roll dough and make circle shapes to make the arepa

    Oil lightly to coat the pan and add flour to the pan

  9. 9

    Add the filling of your liking- Im using a super seasoned beef

  10. 10

    THIS is how they should look completed. Optional- you can add egg wash on them to give them color before placing in oven.

    Bake in oven for 30 minutes- check on them it might need a little less depending on your oven.
