Easy All-Purpose Apple Caramel Sauté

I always receive plenty of apples every year, so I put them to good use by turning them into this delicious arrangement.
Since there's a fine line between caramel and burnt sugar, make sure you turn off the heat at a point of perfect caramelization.
It's fine to slightly brown the apples, as this will add a nice flavor. Recipe by Koyukki-

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Peel the apple and cut into small pieces. Spread the pieces evenly in a frying pan.
- 2
Completely cover the apples with sugar.
- 3
Cook them over high heat, stirring occasionally, without mixing them too much.
- 4
Keep it over high heat until the edges become caramelized.
- 5
They're finished when every piece of apple becomes a deep caramel color. Turn off the heat and stir in 1 tablespoon of butter. Add cinnamon to taste.
- 6
This can be used an infinite amount of ways. Have it with yogurt or ice cream, and of course, it's good as a pie or bread filling.
- 7
Once it has cooled, transfer to a Ziplock bag to store in the freezer.

Caramel Apple Tart Caramel Apple Tart
When I used a recipe that bakes the crust and almond cream/filling at the same time, the crust and almond cream turned out undercooked, so I came up with a recipe where the crust is baked "blind" in advance.Don't cut the apples too thinly. The petal shape will be three dimensional and look nicer if the apples have a certain thickness. The sauteed apples will shrink considerably once they are cooled. Please be careful not to overcook them in step 13. Recipe by mocchi4141 cookpad.japan -
