Take fresh cod fillets and drench then w light oil so all of the fish is lightly coated

Mix up all spices, dredge fish in spices.

Get your grill hot, prepare cast iron w 3 tbsp oil in hot pan. Put on the grill! When hot, put on the fish.

Cook each side for 3-5 minutes. Fish will flake apart when done and blackened!!
Enjoy! I love to add fresh lemon on top !

The hubby was craving some blackened anything the other day, so I made this for him using the blackened seasoning I made and it turned out great! It was the first time I had cooked with said seasoning and I was pleased the results met what I've seen in restaurants where we've enjoyed blackened fish or chicken in the past.
