Ingredients

  1. 2 tspsalt
  2. 2 tsppaprika
  3. 3/4 tspgarlic powder
  4. 3/4 tsponion powder
  5. 1/2 tspdried oregano
  6. 1/2 tspdried thyme
  7. 1/2 tsppepper
  8. 1/2 tspwhite pepper
  9. 1/2 tspcayenne pepper
  10. 4(6-8 oz) skin on salmon filets
  11. 4 Tbutter, melted, divided
  12. Lemon wedges

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 325°. Combine first 9 ingredients in a bowl.

    Place salmon in single layer on a plate. Brush salmon all over with 2T melted butter and sprinkle all over with spice mix.

    Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat for 5 minutes.place salmon in the skillet skin side up and cook until very dark on bottom, about 1 minute.

    Using tongs, carefully flip salmon; transfer skillet to the oven and bake until center registers 125° (medium- rare), 12-16 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter skin side down and pout remaining 2T melted butter over salmon. Serve with lemon wedges.
