Chana (Chole) Masala

I would like extend my thanks to the awesome author Ms. Mamta.L. Lalwani for the beautiful and delicious Quick Chana Masala. I also cooked the same with little change . It was delicious and very appreciated by my family.
Cooking Instructions

Heat oil in a wok. Add all whole spices and allow to crackle.

Add the poppy seeds, onion masala paste with 1Tbsp water and cook on low flame.

Mix chopped tomatoes, green chilli and rest dry masala including salt and turmeric powder.

Cook tomatoes are mushy and oil is separated from masala.Cook tomatoes are mushy and oil is separated from masala.

Add boiled chana chopped mint leaves and cook for 3-4 minutes with masala. Add the boiled water of chole to make gravy. Boil, covered to get required consistency.

Garnish with coriander, green chilli,onion and lemon slices.
