Simple Tofu Desserts Strawberry Yogurt

This is a variation of my "Simple! Tofu No-Bake Cheesecake" recipe.
The water in the tofu and strawberries will separate out and settle on the top so drain it before serving. These desserts do not keep for long, so refrigerate them and serve them on the same day.
These refreshing yogurt-style desserts are packed with strawberries and have a faint hint of sesame, too. You can't really taste the tofu. Recipe by Miyakojika

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Drain the tofu for about 20 minutes. This is "Pecchin"'s recipe for "How to Drain Tofu for Sloppy Housewives".
https://cookpad.wasmer.app/us/recipes/143046-simple-and-easy-drained-tofu
- 2
Mix the tofu, lemon juice, sesame paste, maple syrup, and 4 strawberries together with a hand mixer (or in a food processor) until smooth.
- 3
You can use either silken or firm tofu for this recipe (firm tofu gives a denser dessert), but firm tofu tends to go lumpy so blend it well.
- 4
Roughly chop up 2 strawberries and mix in. Add the yogurt to a bowl and decorate with fruit. Chill well in the fridge and serve.

A Healthy Tofu and Yogurt Dessert A Healthy Tofu and Yogurt Dessert
I found out that whey is made by draining yogurt, so I thought it was like tofu.... and wondered what if I drained tofu and yogurt together? I tried it out, and the results were amazingly good!!I like to leave the tofu a bit chunky, since I think that makes the final result lighter and fluffier.I think berry jams go the best with this. Greek Yogurt for Desserts Greek Yogurt for Desserts
This is an ingredient that has featured in many of my family's desserts for over 15 years now. After draining the yogurt you can save the whey that has collected underneath, which is quite good for you, and use it in a drink or other cooking. Here is a recipe for pancakes with whey: https://cookpad.wasmer.app/en/recipes/147181-black-sesame-seed-banana-pancakes-with-whey500 ml yogurt will yield about 200 g of yogurt cream. Please try using this yogurt cream as a substitute for cream cheese in many kinds of desserts. It also tastes good eaten with fruit or spread on bagels. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -

Yogurt dessert with a delicious topping Yogurt dessert with a delicious topping
Sometimes, I enjoy eating a nice bowl of yogurt in the evening, I have tried most of the yogurts that are sold in the supermarkets but they are to sour for me. Butttt the market I have close by has finally placed on their refrigerator shelves Original Greek Yogurt. I was truly happy with this discovery, because I kind of gave up on eating yogurt a couple of months ago and was definitely not happy about this.Anyway, I love to add different toppings like honey and walnuts, or fruits instead of eating plain yogurt. I wanted to share a completely different recipe topping with you which I found a few years ago while watching one of the cooking shows. I thought to myself that this was just an absolute must try. It is scrumptious!!!So, if you like to live dangerously, and by this I mean trying new flavors/tastes then this topping will completely astonish you with the variation of dried fruits simmered with Vanilla, Cinnamon and a few more extra ingredients. 🙂 Foodzesty -

Yogurt That Tastes Like an Expensive Dessert Yogurt That Tastes Like an Expensive Dessert
I wondered if marmalade and yogurt would go well together and tried it out. It was ok but lacking something. So I tried adding cocoa powder, which made it taste like a chocolate-coated orange, and then I added some rum, and it tasted like an expensive chocolate dessert!Marmalade comes in various flavors, so if 1 teaspoon doesn't taste sweet enough, add a little more.If you don't have rum, try another fragrant liqueur instead. For 1 serving. Recipe by ayureo cookpad.japan -
Mango, Rum & Yogurt Dessert Mango, Rum & Yogurt Dessert
Your probably thinking to yourselves right about now, OMG Sophie another Mango recipe!! ufff hehehehe. I know, I know but I still have a few more Mangos to get through and well, why not share with you another wonderful recipe that has Mango in it. This one is so yummy because it has yogurt, honey and rum & blueberry topping. 🙂 Have I gotten your attention yet with this one? I hope so 🙂I have a really close friend who just the other day told me that she doesn’t like Mangos :(. It was so funny because I had just posted the Mango Smoothie and I was on the phone with her when she saw my post and right away voiced in a really hilarious way “I don’t like Mangos SORRYYY”. hehehe I was quite surprised because I have known her for more than 10 yrs. and this I think is the only topic we have never discussed…Tropical Fruit. 🙂I am sure that there are more people out there who do not care for this fruit, just like I don’t care for bananas..:) I think, no I know when I stopped eating bananas, I was very young and heading into the kitchen when I saw my mom who was about to feed my baby brother at the time take a banana and mush it all up (just remembering the site makes my face all cringy) and started to feed him. I’m not exactly sure what happened it could have been the smell of the banana or the site hmm. but that was the last time I ate one. 🙂 Till this day if I see someone eating a banana I walk the other way or go into another room..yep that’s what I do. 🙂Anyway, Foodzesty -
Luxurious Tofu Desserts Luxurious Tofu Desserts
I love desserts with Johnny Tofu, but I can't buy it very often because it's over our budget. But I really want to eat it!! I came up with this recipe because of a greedy craving.I think it's smoother if you drain the tofu after stirring it up once, rather than draining it as is.If you like ginger, it's also good with ginger molasses. Tofu & Yogurt No-Bake Cheesecake Tofu & Yogurt No-Bake Cheesecake
This is a quick and healthy dessert. In my opinion, firm tofu gives it a richer taste and I like it better.Make sure you blend everything until smooth. You can use firm or silken tofu. Make sure to drain the moisture well. Recipe by nokko.t cookpad.japan -
Yogurt and Tofu Cheesecake Yogurt and Tofu Cheesecake
I had lots of bits of ingredients left over in my fridge, so I mixed them all together and the combination turned out delicious. In Step 2, it felt like too much trouble to set up a double broiler, so I heated the bowl over a heated stovetop from a height of 15-20 cm.Once the bottom of the bowl is warm to the touch, you can move on to the next step. It's a pretty rough estimate.I calculated the calorie count. 1 piece = 75 kcal, 675 kcal total. It was lower than I expected! Recipe by Mizusora Hitomi cookpad.japan -
Super Easy Silken Tofu Dessert with Sesame Kinako Kuromitsu Super Easy Silken Tofu Dessert with Sesame Kinako Kuromitsu
I enjoyed some tofu jelly topped with kinako and kuromitsu. But I thought maybe it wasn't necessary to make all that and it might be just as good to put the toppings on silken tofu. So I tried it. I also topped it with ground roasted sesame seeds, and there was no tofu smell at all.Silken tofu is the best kind of tofu to use since it's mild and doesn't have a strong smell. You could also use the tofu that comes in packs of threes or processed tofu. Roasting the sesame seeds before grinding them makes them more fragrant. If you just use brown sugar to make the kuromitsu, it will be ready in less than a minute. Recipe by toshiebaba cookpad.japan -
Ginger-Honey Tofu Dessert Soup Ginger-Honey Tofu Dessert Soup
I used my "Spring Ginger Simmered in Honey"and referred to a tofu cookbook I bought recently to come up with a healthy dessert that is perfect for the summer. You can leave out the matcha tea powder and moist amanatto, but if you add them they will counteract the tofu-ness of the tofu, and it will taste a bit like uji kintoki (a sweet bean and green tea flavored treat).Use a good quality silken tofu.
